This past week I: flew into Boston to stay at my gal’s place. Stayed at her friend’s the first night because of snow. Cooked her dinner every night because it was fun, and in an effort to recompense for spewing all of my things all over her room and also eating her food, making her drag me everywhere, etc. Wore all of the layers (because holy crap cold). Went to NYC! Visited Gigi, saw ALL OF THE MUSEUMS (not actually; more like the Met and the Natural History Museum) and Tosca at the Met Opera. Came back to Boston. Basked in enjoying company. Hung out with Rachel (cannolis!). Got a really nice email from my brother about Family Things. Tried (and failed) to compose something back that didn’t sound like a hallmark card; sent it anyway. Struggled to drag all of my things to and from the commuter rail while the girlfriend good-naturedly tried to keep me from dying/shut me up by carrying the extra baggage against my wishes (she kind of succeeded, but my back still hurts). Got back to the dorm, rested. Set up socializing because I was worried that after a week of spending a lot of time with other people I would feel alone in my dorm room ALL BY MYSELFFFF, spent time alone and realized that I enjoyed it and didn’t want to socialize, socialized anyway and had some nice conversations. 

And now I shall sleep all the sleeps so that maybe I feel less like an 80 year old tomorrow so I can unpack properly.
